Story of sadan Butcher and God
story of sadan butcher:–
There was a butcher’s sadan. He was very honest, he used to live in Kirtan in the name of God. Even while cutting meat, he used to hum the name of God.
One day he was going somewhere in his tune, that a stone hit his leg. She stopped, saw a black round stone hit her leg. He took the stone and placed it in his pocket, thinking that it would be useful for breaking the meat.
After coming back, he used that stone to weigh the weight of the meat. In a few days he realized that this stone is not ordinary. The more weight that has to be weighed, the more weight the stone becomes.
Gradually, it started to spread that Sadan Butcher has a weighing stone, she breaks it as much as she wants. If someone has to give one kilo of meat, then putting that stone in the scales on one side, on the other hand, weighs only one kilo of meat. If one must have two kilos then that stone becomes heavy as a weight of two kilos.
Due to this miracle, a crowd of his people gathered. As the crowd gathered, sales of Sadan shop increased.
The talk also reached a pure Brahmin. However, he did not want to go to such an unclean place, where meat is cut and sold. But the eagerness to see the miracle stone pulled him to Sadan’s shop.
Standing from a distance, he began to see Sadan butcher weighing meats. He saw how that stone was weighing every type of weight. After watching carefully, the body’s hairs stood up. The Brahmin went to Sadan Butcher after the crowd had recovered
Sadan Butcher was pleased and surprised to see the Brahmin in his shop. Very humbly Sadan gave the Brahmin a place to sit and asked what he could do to serve them!
The Brahmin said: I have come to your shop only to see this miracle stone, or rather say that this miracle stone has pulled me to your shop.
In many cases, he told Sadan Butcher that by understanding which stone she is weighing, in reality she is Shaligram ji, which is the form of God. It is a great sin to keep Shaligram ji in the middle of the meat that has been slaughtered and to wean them.
Sadan was a devotee of a very simple nature. Hearing the talk of a Brahmin, he realized that I am inadvertently committing a lot of sin. By persuasion, he gave Shaligram to the Brahmin and said, “You are a Brahmin, so please make them happy by caring for them. There should be some service worthy of me. Let me know.”
The Brahmin brought that Shaligram Shila home with great respect. On coming home, he bathed Sri Aligram, anointed Panchamrit and started worshiping.
A few days had passed that in the dream of those Brahmins, Shri Shaligram Ji came and said: O Brahmin! I am happy with your services, but you leave me with the same butcher.
When the Brahmin asked the reason in his dream, he got an answer that – you worship me Archana – I like it, but I also blame myself to the devotees who keep on chanting my name. Sadan does not worship me like you, but he keeps chanting my name all the time, which I like, so I went to him.
On the very next day, the Brahmin went to Sadan Butcher and bowed to him, told him the whole thing and handed it over to Shrishali Gramji. Sadan Butcher got tears in hearing of the Brahmin. In his mind, he thought of giving up the work of selling and buying meat and decided that if my Thakur likes Kirtan, I will do Nam Kirtan more and more time.
